Chad Reportedly Threatened to Kill Evelyn in the Past

A friend of defamed NFL star Chad Johnson says that in the past, Chad has threatened to kill his wife.  RadarOnline reports that a good friend of Chad’s says that the two have gotten into nasty fights in the past.

“Chad has been abusive towards Evelyn basically from the beginning of their relationship,” the source says.

“Chad doesn’t like Evelyn’s party lifestyle and it made his anger worsen,” he said. “He hated the way she acted on TV and would often lash out at her for any little thing.”

The friend also said that he’s not surprised that Chad and Evelyn ended their relationship after just 41 days of marriage.  Chad was recently arrested for allegedly headbutting Evelyn, and since that time, the couple has lost their new VH1 reality show, and Chad lost his job with the Miami Dolphins.

“Chad and Evelyn’s marriage was volatile in nature and a mistake from the start,” the friend said.

“He [Chad] went off the scale at her once because he was tired of having Evelyn’s friends, like her assistant and stuff, living in his house.”

The friend also says that a few of Evelyn’s friends were getting concerned about her safety.  Even though Evelyn was on TV threatening to beat other women down, Chad turned out to be a bigger, scarier opponent.  He was the man who could “handle” her.

“She told me that Chad threatened to kill her one time and that was really a red flag,” the source said.

“But only a small circle of her friends knew what was going on and it was hard to convince her to get out of the situation.”
