Usher’s Stepson Kile Glover Funeral Scheduled For Friday
Kile Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond, will be laid to rest Friday, just a week after he passed away.
A funeral is planned Friday for the stepson of R&B singer Usher — three weeks after the jet ski mishap that left the young boy brain dead and ultimately took his life.
The service for Kile Glover, 11, will be held at 11 a.m. at the Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Atlanta, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday.
On July 6, Glover and a 15-year-old friend were riding on an inner tube pulled by a pontoon boat on Lake Lanier in Georgia, according to reports.
A family friend riding a jet ski slammed into the inner tube, striking Glover in the head and knocking him unconscious, authorities said. He was later declared brain dead, while his friend was released from the hospital after suffering a cut in the head and a broken arm.
Glover died July 21 of heart failure, according to reports.
The family friend, identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey Hubbard, could face criminal charges.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources said Monday it was still investigating the case and a recommendation could be made to the district attorney.
Glover’s father is Atlanta television exec Ryan Glover and his mother is Tameka Foster Raymond.
She and Usher were married in 2007 and split two years later. They have two children together.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kile’s family and friends. May he rest in peace.

My heart goes out to you Usher, and your Step Son and your Ex-wife. I am so sorry the two of you are going through this, and I have been grieving since December Christmas last year so I truly understand. Please come together and put everything behind you because life is just too short to fight. I love all of you and please keep your head up and TRY to go on for him.
My prayers and thoughts go out to Tameka and Ryan Glover, the parents of Kile, Kile’s siblings, and the rest of Kiles’s family and friends. Usher has my condolences as well. I am so sorry to hear of this little young one’s passing. I prayed that he would pull out of the coma and survive, but it was not to be. I know it will be an uphill process for Kile’s love ones with healing and grieving, but faith and love will give them strength and help dry the tears. Words cannot convey how terrible I feel for Tameka because she carried him inside her womb. There cannot be any hurt worse for a mother than losing a child especially one so young. God be with little Kile and keep hm in the shelter of His arms. I pray for peace, acceptance, and understanding for Kile’s love ones, especially Tameka! Love to the family!
God Bless you Usher and your loved ones. I know you will make your family stronger and better. Concdolences to you all.
Condolences to the family , prayers going up and you and your family are in my thoughts. God bless the family.
