According to Hip-Hp Wired: Throughout his rap career Lupe Fiasco has been known to go through one identity crisis after another. In his pre-Food & Liquor days he was more interested in doing his impression of a “gangsta rapper” (look it up if you don’t believe us), then he went to “backpack rap,” and now that he’s growing his hair out, it appears that his latest mask is that of a part-time revolutionary, who also likes to DJ, and has tons of criticism for President Obama.
It’s no secret that the Chicago native is not a fan of the commander in chief, previously likening him to a “terrorist,” and during an interview with Philly’s Power 99 radio station he continued his tirade. “One hand, you have someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children – our president,” he noted.
“I’m talking about ordering a drone attack. Ordering drone attacks that go and kill mothers, innocent bystanders, children. Militants too, but the collateral damage. You’re responsible for that, too.”
The drone attacks in which he speaks refer to retaliation on Al Qeda forces, and have not been officially confirmed of denied by the President or the CIA. However, regardless of his motives, Fiasco says that there is no excuse for killing innocent civilians–which the president would likely agree with. “Drug dealers can say the same thing. I didn’t mean to kill all the people in the restaurant. I was just trying to get that one dude who killed my cousin. Just so happened that that little girl was there. Same thing.”
Thank goodness Fiasco has opted to publicly slander the country’s first black president, it’s probably exactly what the masses like to hear. This is the same president that wasn’t able to stop the attorney general from being held in contempt, perhaps Fiasco should make sure he has the proper target.

Shut the f up Lupe. It seems that you have a bit more growing to do. You look at a president’s job in its totality. War is a situation where there is collateral damage and things that might seem innocuous from our view can be quite dangerous in reality. You can disagree with the POTUS, but base it on fact and application not emotion and career posturing. Be blessed brotha.
