And you thought Octomom had her hands full—a Tennessee man who has fathered 30 children is asking the courts for a break on child support.
Desmond Hatchett, 33, of Knoxville has children with 11 different women, reports WREG-TV.
The state already takes half his paycheck and divides it up, which doesn’t amount to much when Hatchett is making only minimum wage. Some of the moms receive as little as $1.49 a month. The oldest child is 14 years old.
Hatchett explains how he reached such a critical mass: He had four kids in the same year. Twice.
Back in 2009 when Hatchett was in court to answer charges that many of the mothers were not receiving child support, he had 21 children. At the time, he said he was not going to father any more kids, but he ended up having nine more in the past three years.
The state cannot order Hatchett to stop making babies. He hasn’t broken any laws, according to the report.

Take some of your children out and teach them to start their own businesses and use the funds to assist you to pay your bills.
While we do not condon and encourage his absolutely reckless and disturbing womanizing, the Church Or churches should step up to help take of these babies especially the Black Church. With the eldest at 14, this is a recipe for trouble in the future. If there is no intervention with structures in place for their up bringing, they will definitely end up in juvenile detention facilities. The Black community should step up and stop these children from going to Prison by rejecting the individualistic tendencies and return to the oldtime communitarian ethics. Talk is cheap and criticizing government policies is cheaper if we cannot look in our back yard and take care Of our own. Demond should consider visectomy for Now but these babies need our help. I agree with you!. In the article it said he had not committed a crime, I beg to differ. It is a crime to make that many children knowing you cannot afford to raise them, If a woman had 1/2 that many babies and was on public assistance, they would be talking about sterilizing her. He needs to be sterilized. He can’t afford the children he has, so he should not be allowed to have more children. I do not see him going back to school to enable him to get a better a better paying job. I wonder if he is proud to make so many babies? Pride should occur by supporting and raising your children to be self-supporting , and able to contribute to society in some way!
First, we really need to congratulate this brother. He has showed us the true nature of so many black women. After the second woman, he never should have been able to get a date with anybody, anywhere. Yet another nine (9) women lined up to have babies with him.
The remedy. That’s simple. Don’t provide any government or church assistance to any of the parties. They all did what they did because they are consumed with arrogance, immaturity, and narcissism. If you provide asistance, six months from now they will start up again with making more babies.
The only way to bring them to reality is to have the women experience the physical and emotional strain of having to feed, clothe, and babysit these children all on their own. And this brother needs to spend the next eighteen (18) years sleeping on his mother’s couch and have every bi-weekly paycheck read $15.00 after child support deductions.
Finally, I hope that no social worker, minister, or deacon braiwashes these women into thinking that after having all these babies, they are going to marry a doctor or lawyer. I see it every day.

You have to hold these women that he has had these children by accountable for some of this. He probably didn’t have anything to offer them in the first place. These women I’m sure knew he had a bunch of kids. So if they just felt they wanted to be with him they should been using birth control!!!
He gets no sympathy we the taxpayers gotta pay for his trifling ASS the children are innocent a vascetomy and that CANE they use in Singapore will get his attention CANE HIS ASS THEN PUT HIM ON 12 hour shifts for the state cleaning the expressways emergency lanes I can find work for his ass since the state is taking care of the kids anyway BUT DEFINITELY CANE HIS SORRY ASS

That which resonates in my mind is a quote from both of my parents; “if you seep with dogs, you will surely wake up with fleas.”
This so-called man and the so-called women are threaten their own lives because no one is wearing protection. I still can’t understand what makes him think he can do this and get away with it. The women who got pregnant by him should have known what his background is all about. It is about diseases and using protection. The ones who are going to suffer the most likely the children. Last thought – where are the parents of ‘him’ and those ‘women? Explain that to their parents!
