According to Eurweb:
*Steve Harvey’s success with “Think Like a Man” is still reverberating among filmmakers and movie watchers. So much so that a sequel could be the next thing for the franchise.
But Steve is concerned that writers will take the story to a place he didn’t imagine.
“They pitched a couple of storylines to me. I’m not sold on any one of them yet,” Harvey told Access Hollywood. “You can’t take my book and turn it into anything close to buffoonery. I’m not ever going to allow that. The book wasn’t about buffoonery. The first movie wasn’t-and it really struck a nerve with men and women-and so the second movie has to be in that same vein,” he said.
Sequels are infamous for being pretty wack, especially romantic comedies. But hey, who knows. The possibilities are endless.
He admitted it’s going to be hard to have the same success as the first one.
In the meantime, Steve is writing his third book that will include words of wisdom love and of course everyday life.
Also, the self-appointed relationship guru will be bringing his expertise on romance to the small-screen when his new daytime talk show premieres.
“We’re going to do a lot of relationship stuff. That’s what’s really important out there today to a lot of people, but we’re going to offer a lot of takeaways in terms of politics, to health, to fitness. It’s mostly a lot of fun. I am just a firm believer that laughter is so inexpensive, and it does the absolute most for people.”
