Alicia Keys has been a pretty busy lady lately. Between shutting it down at the iTunes Festival in London, handling motherly duties, becoming one of the newest members of Reebok, and preparing for a new album, you would think that the multi-talented superstar wouldn’t have time to release another video.

If you haven’t been keeping track, it’s been two years since Alicia Keys walked down the aisle with her a recently divorced man!
Well it just wouldn’t be right if the couple didn’t celebrate in style. Alicia took to her Twitter/Instagram accounts to share an anniversary photo of the couple in front of one of their mutual inspirations — the Apollo Theater:

B Rocka stunned the white carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tonight (May 20) in a nude pleated & fringed plunging V neck mini dress with mirror embellishments. With a head full of curls–that we’re drooling over–and perfect dramatic makeup, the singer/actress looked fabulous:
Great choice of gold bow embellished pumps.
Brandy was on hand to introduce her “Put It Down” collabo partner, Chris Brown, before he took the stage to perform.
Also keeping with the nude trend, pretty girl Jordin Sparks lit up the carpet in a lace scalloped hem curve hugging dress as she hit the carpet ahead of her tribute to co-star and idol Whitney Houston. The Sparkle star will be performing her late co-star’s signature song “I Will Always Love You,” while new “Duets” star John Legend will perform “Greatest Love of All”. And Bobbi Kris will accept the Millennium Award on her mother’s behalf.
Of the plans, Co-Executive Producer of the show, Richard Beckman, said, ”I was at the Grammys, and what a curveball they were thrown when Whitney passed away [the day before the show]. They did a good job with Jennifer Hudson, but obviously we had a bit more time, so we wanted to do something honoring such a remarkable performer. We have a lovely segment with a full orchestra and John Legend doing “The Greatest Love of All” — his voice is just smashing — and Whitney’s last co-star [in the movie "Sparkle"], Jordin Sparks, “Doing I Will Always Love You.” And Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s daughter, will accept the Millennium Award for her mother, which we created last year for Beyonce — that’s probably the highest tribute we could pay.”
And with her signature smile, the singer/actress hit the carpet solo and with her boo (who’s not rocking his neck brace for the first time publicly) Jason Derulo:

Swizz Beatz & Alicia Keys stuck to their black & white theme for tonight’s Awards:
Swizzy kept it extra clean in an all white suit, while Alicia flossed her mommy curves and tons of earrings in this snug black long sleeved Alaia Couture gown:
Not feeling this huge braid in the front, but the dress is perfectly flattering for her. She will also be performing tonight alongside Stevie Wonder.
Meanwhile, Amber Rose rocked her usual white strapless mini dress I feel like we’ve seen plenty of times on her before. But she knows the color works well for her. Paired with a gold pumps and bright yelow nails, the “model” was on the arm of her fiance Wiz Khalifa, who won one award (so far) for Top New Artist. And, of course, he gave his proud lady a shout out during his acceptance speech.
Somebody played a little too long in the body glitter.
In addition to winning an award tonight, he also presented an award to LMFAO. Congrats Wiz.
Usher made sure he wasn’t missed on the carpet in this bright sky blue suit. And surprisingly, we kinda love it. He hit the stage to perform his track “Scream”.
And LMFAO are racking up tonight. They’ve won 2 awards so far: Their “Party Rock Anthem” won for Hot 100 Song of the Year and the twosome won for Top Duo/Group.
Also at the Awards–Monica & Eric Benet presented the Top R&B Artist Award.
Mo and her hubby Shannon Brown tweeted pics together and with Chris Brown at the show while Mo said:“Congrats to @chrisbrown R&B Artist of the yer #BBMA”
Alicia Keys sure has embraced motherhood! Days before Mother’s Day, she made an appearance on Lifetime’s new talk-show series, ‘The Conversation’ produced by Demi Moore.
Alicia chatted and had quite an interesting one on one talk with host Amanda de Cadenet about the joys of motherhood, her bangin’ bawwwwwdy and getting freaky with her hubby:
On her body image…
Well, I think that we as females are like the most beautiful, gorgeous creatures on the world and I think that we’re gorgeous no matter what size that we are. In fact, I personally think that we are more beautiful when we are a bit thicker, bigger and more robust. I just think it’s gorgeous. Even seeing older sculptures from past centuries and you see the women very thick and very beautiful and I personally, think it’s really, really gorgeous. I’m grateful that I actually feel like that because I think that a lot of us feel as though we have to be some little, tiny size in order to be beautiful. It’s like, we’re beautiful not because of what size we are, we’re beautiful because of how your mind works and you’re beautiful because you have this gorgeous heart and that comes from way more than you fitting in some size two dress. And we’re beautiful because of all these things that come up and tumble out of us and that’s beautiful because I just always feel like I love being a woman. I really love it.
Then there’s the other side of being body consciousness, age consciousness, which I think is another one ridiculously pressed upon women, whereas men can become old, refined and gray and they are suddenly so handsome. But a woman becomes gray and she’s old and that’s so not true.
What I’ve noticed is that I find almost an obsession with older women because there’s like a confidence level there I really look forward to achieving

Rocking her ridiculously beautiful canary diamond wedding ring, Alicia Keys is being her usual earthy yet edgy self in the new issue of VIBE magazine. In YBF’s exclusive outtake shot, Alicia rocks only a red leather jacket and a set of colorful strings in place of a shirt, and her black lipstick. She dishes on the love she shares with her husband in her first real interview in years. And yes, her man Swizz (Kasseem Dean) was a part of the interview too.
An excerpt from their cover story:
“It was the craziest thing,” says Dean, leaning forward in his chair. “We had a work lunch with some people, and I get home and look in the back pocket—”
“My credit card was in his pocket,” Keys finishes the story, eyes wide. “Why was my credit card in his pocket?”
One explanation might be that he’d grabbed it by accident when they split the check, but that would be too prosaic. They saw the credit card debacle as a sign, the first of many. Well, second, if you count the time, 14 years ago, when they first met and Dean tried unsuccessfully to get her number from his friend. “It wasn’t our time yet,” he says with a smile.

The haute June Ambrose stepped out in NYC last night for her premiere of her upcoming VH1 show “Styled By June.” And with friends…who happen to also be her clients…like Jay-Z stopping through, it was a fab occasion indeed.
TheYBF.com caught up with the styling guru last night to find out about her most difficult clients, and if any members of The Carter Family will be making an appearance on the show…
June looked fantastically feminine at her NYC premiere at the Crosby St. Hotel last night in a Spring 2012 Cynthia Rowley colorful floral detailed Cynthia Rowley cocktail dress, bronze Brian Atwood pumps, Henri Bendel silver python clutch (she dished to us she loves mixing her metallics) and a silver Hermes cuff.
She’s the CEO of her own company, Mode Squad, Inc. And was the style architect for the US version of “X-Factor.” So, of course, we had to sit down and get the goods on who will (and won’t) be making an appearance on the make-over focused series, who are the most difficult clients, and if she co-signs on youngins like Willow Smith having so much style freedom. On whether The Carters will be making an appearance on the show (since she was spotted with cameras in tow styling Jay for his Carnegie Hall concerts)
“No! [Laughs] Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Mary J, all of those clients, they don’t need this show. They are GOOD! Jay doesn’t need this process. In this show, the process is about the emancipation, the rebranding…he’s good. The story line you see in this show is a lot more raw, it’s so honest, and it’s people you love and you want to see win at the end of the day. At the end of each episode you have a better understanding of what the celebs have to go through to become the Jay-Zs and to be the Alicias.”
On who were her most difficult clients
“Everyone had difficult moments. I had to deal with each one differently. Some were more difficult than others. Brat was difficult. Um, Shanna Moakler was. But every situation was a difficult process. But that’s what goes into it. I mean, if it’s not difficult then the work isn’t really being done.”
On staying fabulous at all times, despite juggling 2 kids, husband and hectic career
“I call it the wake before the quake. I don’t let my kids tap on my forehead like an earthquake is happening. Don’t wake me I’ll wake myself, so that I’ll feel nice. By the time I’m dealing with you, 2 hours later, I am HAUTE. [LAUGHS] That’s how you balance it. You take time to work on yourself both mentally and emotionally. I think you’re a better parent and better partner that way. I love cooking. It’s therapeutic for me and I love taking care of my family that way.”
On styling her own family
“Styling my husband [Marc] is the worst. He’s very naturally fashionable. My kids–the worst. I hate styling them too. [My son] Chance doesn’t want to be styled. And [my daughter] Summer is so headstrong and has such a great eye for pieces. I put things in their reach that I want them to have on. That’s the psychology. Like with my celebrity clients–I take things out of their closet that’ll wreck what we’ve been working on.”
On if she would give her own 11-year-old daughter (her daughter Summer isn’t quite that age yet) as much style freedom as Willow Smith
“Parenting is not easy. [Will & Jada] do things their way. And I think they’re amazing parents. I’m not going to tell anyone else how to raise their kids. Nor am I going to have an opinion about it. Creative freedom is so important. We’re from an artistic place. I think there are boundaries. But whatever they’re doing seems like it’s working because [Willow] seems like a very well-rounded child.”
“Would I let MY child shave off half of her head? No. We’re just coming from two different places. I don’t judge.”

The “Cheers” singer shook things up on the red carpet in this revealing Armani gown that she designed with Mr. Armani himself. She said on the red carpet that he’s starting to trust her designs more.
Rihanna’s dress is simple but it simply screams sex!
She caught up with the “Super Bass” girls Sophia Grace & Rosie on the red carpet too. Cute!
Nicki Minaj arrived with a Roman Catholic priest in a daring red Atelier Versace Couture “costume” with the Versace Medusa embellished on it. Bishop Long must have been busy.
I love Taraji P. Henson, but she should have chosen a more flattering dress because she can pull off a hot dress. Not loving this one though.
Taraji also said she’s working on a music project but wants to make sure it’s authentic so it won’t turn off her fans.
Kelly Rowland and this big hair….which she has been rocking all weekend. And I love it. She wore an Alberta Ferreti gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. One of my fave looks of the night.
She posed with DJ Khaled and Rick Ross on the red carpet.
Alicia Keys (who did a tribute to Etta James alongside Bonnie Rait) arrived with her husband Swizz Beatzwho rocked a bold purple bowtie and velvet sportcoat. Totally underwhelmed by Alicia’s look.
Ice T was with wife CoCo who revealed SHE has a kissing scene coming up on his “Law And Order” show and it’s not with Ice!
John Legend arrive with his fiance Chrissy Teigen.
Common kept it regular with his look…..which is what we love about him.

Marsha Ambrosius tweeted about Whitney saying, It was a hard day for everyone yesterday. Celebrating and mourning “all at once…” On my way to The Grammys. Surreal. So real!
Wiz Khalifa walked the red carpet with Amber Rose who wore a Versace gown and Christian Louboutin shoes. I want somebody to sneak and check her tag because this looks a but cheap to be Versace. Maybe it’s not the dress itself….
Amber added that she wore black and yellow in honor of Wiz–who rocked Dolce & Gabbana and Louboutin shoes. He jokingly said wearing those shoes makes him feel like it’s the first day of high school, and that Amber is the baddest chic at the high school. He also said they will be engaged soon…..sigh.
Melanie Fiona also rocked black and yellow. She also picked up the Best Traditional R&B Performance award in the pre-show.
Kirk Franklin looked mighty shiny on the red carpet. He arrived with wife Tammy Collins.
And J. Cole tweeted this uber cute pic of himself with his mom on the red carpet. I’m not even a huge fan of Mr. Cole but he is looking damn good on this carpet tonight.
Charlie Wilson…..sigh. He’s a legend so if he want to rock an S-curl, Uncle Charlie can do that.
Corrine Bailey Rae went ALL THE WAY with the ruffles in this dress by Christian Siriano. It’s actually a cute fun dress. Kinda loving it.
Ledisi worked a sliver gown with sequins.
Bruno Mars wore Thom Browne. And his usual bouffant ‘do.
