According to Gawker, this was Raquel Gonzalez’s tipping point:

Deputies in Manatee County, Florida, were called to a private residence in Bradenton yesterday to intervene in a domestic dispute resulting from a case of premature climaxing.
According to a report filed by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Esric Davis and his live-in girlfriend, 24-year-old Raquel Gonzalez, were engaged in intercourse when “[Davis] climaxed and Raquel did not.”
The imbalance reportedly set Gonzales off, and she “began hitting and scratching [Davis], causing scratches near his eye and nose.”
Deputies say Gonzalez admitted she “lost it,” but was otherwise “belligerent and uncooperative.” She was arrested and booked into Manatee County lockup on a charge of domestic battery.
Davis noted that this behavior was not out of the ordinary for Gonzales who frequently “goes off” on him.
Alcohol was listed in the report as a possible contributing factor.

Mitt Romney Concedes In Florida After Senior Advisor Admits They Didn’t Do Enough To Win!

Sometimes you just got to know when to throw in the towel. And Romney’s camp was at least smart enough to not try to drag this isht out any longer than necessary.

According to YahooNews:

While ballots are still being counted in the state of Florida, a senior adviser for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign told the Miami Herald on Thursday that they are effectively conceding the Sunshine State and its 29 electoral votes to President Barack Obama.
“The numbers in Florida show this was winnable,” Brett Doster said in a statement to the paper. “We thought based on our polling and range of organization that we had done what we needed to win. Obviously, we didn’t, and for that I and every other operative in Florida has a sick feeling that we left something on the table. I can assure you this won’t happen again.”
Florida would give the president a total of 332 electoral votes. Romney would finish with 206.
According to state officials, Obama leads Romney 49.9 percent (or 4,180,697 votes) to 49.24 percent (or 4,124,865 votes)—a margin of 55,832 votes—with more than 97 percent of the vote counted. If the final margin is within a half percentage point, there would be an automatic recount.
Romney conceded the election to Obama early Wednesday.
Earlier Thursday, Jim Messina, the president’s campaign manager, said during a conference call with reporters that they expected Obama would be named “the official winner in Florida later today.” Saturday is the deadline for counties to file their preliminary results with the state.
The final tally is expected to be certified on Nov. 20.

Alright Florida. Always the last dayum one to count up all the votes.

Principal Resigns After Offering Promotions In Exchange For S*xual Favors!

According to ABC News:

A Florida high school principal who offered teachers’ promotions in exchange for sex has resigned from his position.Steve Van Gorden’s resignation comes after a 300-page investigative report by Pasco County school officials into allegations of sexual harassment.
Several teachers claim Van Gorden, who is also the mayor of Zephyrhills, sent text messages offering career boosts in exchange for sex and threatened them if they refused.
Van Gorden said he’s sorry.
“The bottom line is I’m truly sorry for what occurred, and it’s not going to happen again,” Van Gorden said.
Van Gorden has a year and a half left on his term as mayor.

Didn’t he know he’d get caught???

One-Time Fatally Shoots “Bare-Bodied Irrational Woman”

Florida Police Officers Fatally Shoot Irrational Woman In Tampa

The shooting occurred at about 1:15 p.m. Saturday in Hernando County, north of Tampa. The county sheriff’s office said in a news release that the men were approached by an “armed, bare-bodied and irrational female.” The news release does not identify the weapon, but it says “one or both of the law enforcement officers fired their weapons, striking the female.” She died at the scene.
Both officers have been placed on administrative leave as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates the shooting in the Spring Hill community. Authorities have identified the officers as Hernando County sheriff’s Detective Rocky Howard and Tampa police officer William Mechler, who have served six and four years, respectively. Tampa police say Mechler was “off duty and acting in the capacity of a private citizen.”
Lt. Cinda Moore, a spokeswoman for the Hernando sheriff’s office, said in an email late Saturday that she could not immediately identify the woman or disclose the weapon she was carrying. She said she also could not comment on what the woman specifically said or did or whether she was told to drop the weapon, explaining that the FDLE is leading the investigation.
The Hernando County sheriff’s office does permit the carrying of service weapons when off-duty, she said.

Online Child Pedophile Operation Catches 23 Molesters At Florida Home

They thought they were coming to meet a 14-year-old…but when each ‘man’ came to the door, they were in for a very rude and deserving wake-up call!!!!

Twenty-three men were busted during a week-long online child sting by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. One of the men was an Army Reservist and had the nerve to show up with a fawking teddy bear and hydrocodone pills!!! Another one of these disgusting ishts brought a contract with him!

According to The Daily Mail…

Volusia County Sheriff’s Office announced yesterday that undercover officers had spent the week posing as children or parents of young children on social networks, chat rooms and other websites in the sting called Operation Volusia Broadband.
U.S. Army Reservist Paul Way of Melbourne, Florida, walked up to a house in Ormond Beach with a teddy bear, two hydrocodone pills and a hand-written contract.
The 36-year-old was expecting to find a mother and her 14-year-old daughter who he had arranged to have sex with over the internet.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, he expected the woman to sign his document, giving him full permission to have sex with the teen.
But when he got to the house he was arrested by law enforcement officers.
The suspects range in age from 18 to 66 years old. The oldest was a 66-year-old semi-retired doctor from Port Orange, John F. Williams.
He arrived at the house with two bottles of wine and Viagra pills, according to the Sentinel.
Job Jesuraju, 19, rode to the home on his bike and even stopped a deputy to ask directions.
A police spokesperson said: ‘These individuals thought they were talking to 14-year-olds or younger children or the parents who were putting their children up for some kind of sexual pleasure.’
When the conversation moved to meeting a child for sex, undercover officer invited the suspects back to a decoy house where they were arrested.
Volusia Sheriff Ben Johnson said: ‘Child exploitation is a problem that crosses all jurisdictional boundaries and socioeconomic backgrounds.’
Though most of the men were from Volusia, some of them traveled across the country after arranging to have sex online.
Students were also among those arrested.

George Zimmerman Is Suing NBC For Edited 911 Tape That Him “Appear Racist”

George Zimmerman Suing NBC Over Edited 911 Tape

George Zimmerman’s attorney on Thursday confirmed his client is considering a defamation lawsuit against NBC over the misleading editing of a recording that he said made his client “appear he is a racist.”
In a statement Thursday, Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara said NBC’s editing version of his client’s call to Sanford Police was “outrageous.”
“Due in large part to NBC’s actions, George has had to live in hiding, in fear for his life,” he wrote.
The audio, which aired March 27 on the “Today” show and in a report by an NBC-owned affiliate days earlier, made it sound as if Zimmerman volunteered to police that 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was black in the call he made before the Feb. 26 shooting.
In the NBC-edited audio, Zimmerman says of Trayvon, “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”
But those two sentences are not back-to-back in the original audio. In between, a police dispatcher asked Zimmerman about Trayvon’s race.

Sorry George, but we didn’t need those tapes to make us think you were a racist.

NBC since apologized, and three employees were let go, according to reports. The network declined to comment on Thursday.
Jon Kaney, an experienced media lawyer and general counsel to Florida’s First Amendment Foundation, said there are several elements of defamation that need to be addressed in Zimmerman’s claim.

First of which is:

The most basic: Is the edited audio defamatory? That’s subject to interpretation, Kaney said.
“[Zimmerman] begins with an argument that’s based on an implication. NBC did not say he is a racist,”

Secondly:

Zimmerman went into hiding soon after the shooting, weeks before the “Today” report. In the interrim, the case sparked international outrage, focused largely on Zimmerman.
Zimmerman’s high profile raises another key issue: Whether he was a public figure in the eyes of the law at the time of the alleged defamation.
If so, Kaney said, he’d have to show NBC “knew the statement was falsely made, or acted with reckless disregard for its truth or falsity.”

Tompkins says that although networks settle many defamation cases out of court, Zimmerman’s is not likely to be one of them.

Judge Rules That Warren Sapp Is Relieved Of Part Of His Debt

According to TMZ reports:

NFL legend Warren Sapp finally has some financial news he can celebrate — a federal judge just wiped out a giant chunk of his overwhelming debt … by discharging the football star from his bankruptcy case.
TMZ broke the story — Sapp filed for chapter 7 back in April, claiming he owed more than $6.7 million to creditors, but only had $6.45 million in assets … which included 240 Air Jordans, a lion skin rug and a boxing glove signed by Muhammad Ali.
A Florida judge decided Sapp’s financial house was in order … and discharged him from bankruptcy on September 24.
But the NFL star’s not completely out of the woods — he’s still on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax debt, child support and alimony … which was NOT covered by his Chapter 7 filing.

Way to go Warren, now get the rest of your life together!

6-Month-Old Baby Girl Dies In Car After Dad Forgets To Take Her To Daycare

A 6-month-old baby was discovered dead in a car after police say the father forgot to drop her off at day care. Miami-Dade Police confirmed the girl was found at Doral Academy Elementary Tuesday afternoon. Authorities said the father of the child, Lazaro Ramos, dropped off one of his kids at the school and forgot to take the baby, Rosalyn, to day care.
Nine hours later at the end of his workday, he drove back to the elementary school and then realized the baby was still inside the vehicle. Carlos Azate said his wife witnessed the entire thing and he described what she saw. “When he picked up his kid, he went to his car and he realized that his daughter was there. The little kid found his sister in the car, so the little kid started crying,” Azate said. And the guy, when he realized that the baby was there, he just like fell down to the floor and started crying.”
Rosalyn Ramos, who was unresponsive, was rushed to Miami Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said. Authorities are questioning the father but no charges have been filed, Miami-Dade Police said. “He is a good father in every sense of the word, and her mother the same,” grandfather Jose Rodriguez Lopez said of his son-in-law, Ramos.
“When you see it on the news, you never think it could happen to you,” Rodriguez Lopez said. Officials with the Department of Children and Families said they are also investigating the death. “She was everything to us,” said the baby’s aunt, Dayani Rodriguez.

Wow. R.I.P. little Rosalyn.

Florida Man Attacked His Brother With A Machete And A Screwdriver

Authorities took a Putnam County, Florida man into custody after his brother said he was the aggressor in an attack involving a machete and a screw driver.
Deputies say 46-year-old Alejandro Donato was treated by emergency personnel Tuesday after he received multiple cuts to his head in a dispute with his brother.
Deputies said his brother, Aaron Donato, used a machete to cut him. Aaron left the family’s Old San Mateo Road home before deputies arrived to investigate. Deputies said he returned shortly thereafter and answered their questions.
Deputies said after speaking with Aaron Donato and other witnesses, they found he used the machete to fend off Alejandro, who allegedly attacked him with a screw driver. Authorities say they determined Alejandro was the aggressor and placed him under arrest.
