Colorado Man Wants American People To “Vote For Satan”

What the hell?!?!!!

A Colorado man is claiming that the theft of a “Vote Satan” sign from his property amounts to a hate crime.

Luigi Bellavite, who is a member of the Church of Satan, reportedly had the sign hanging outside his Mountain View home next to an American flag.

In an interview with local station KMGH-TV, Bellavite said he and his wife chose to display the sign “because it symbolizes freedom from dogmas.”

Bellavite said that when the sign was stolen, police classified the case as a theft, but Bellavite believes it constitutes a hate crime, according to the station.

“If it was the Star of David, absolutely it would be a hate crime,” he said. “There are such double standards that some religions and some ideas are protected and others are not.”

Honeymooning Lesbian Couple Return To Find Home Burned Down To The Ground

When will the hatred stop???

Tawana Williams And Stacy Baker were away on their honeymoon when the Novi, Mich., couple found out late last week that they were the victims of an arson that may have been a hate crime:

Fox 2 reports Williams and Baker were notified by a neighbor last Saturday that their mobile home was engulfed in flames while they were away in Las Vegas.

Baker told the news station that after the blaze was put out, firefighters discovered the inside of the home had been vandalized with threatening slurs and anti-gay messages. She believes she and her partner may have been targeted because of their relationship. She noted their wedding gifts were lost in the blaze.

“Might be, allegedly be a hate crime and some references to me and my partner’s sexuality,” she told Fox 2.

Same-sex couples are legally barred from marrying in Michigan due to a 2004 amendment to the state constitution.

Neighbor Lisa Harvin told the Oakland Press that the couple, who have a 10-year-old daughter, had a peaceful relationship with others in the neighborhood.

“They didn’t bother nobody around here. They’re really nice people,” Harvin said. “It’s nobody’s business what they do.”

According to the Oakland Press, the couple have returned to Metro Detroit and are currently living in a motel.

MLive reports that police are seeking information about the case, and a sign advertising a $5,000 reward for tips is posted on the property.

Can you imagine marrying the person you love, then going on a honeymoon only to return to find your home and all your belongings gone in a fire? We feel sorry the low-life homophobic scumbags who committed this hate crime.

FBI May Charge George Zimmerman With Hate Crime, Could Face The Death Penalty

Justice is going to get you George.

The State of Florida has charged George Zimmerman with murdering Trayvon Martin. But that might not be the end of his legal problems:

According to WFTV, an affliate of ABC in Orlando, Zimmerman may soon be charged with a hate crime by the FBI:

WFTV has learned charges against George Zimmerman could be getting more serious. State prosecutors said Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman, profiled and stalked 17-year-old Trayvon Martin before killing him, so the FBI is now looking into charging him with a hate crime. [...]

FBI investigators are actively questioning witnesses in the retreat at the Twin Lakes neighborhood, seeking evidence for a possible federal hate crime charge.

WFTV notes that “if Zimmerman is charged and found guilty of a federal hate crime involving murder, he could face the death penalty.” FBI officials confirm to ABC News that the investigation is ongoing but say the “hammer won’t be dropped” anytime soon.

Most of the evidence against Zimmerman has yet to be disclosed. Late yesterday, Florida prosecution delivered 67 CDs of evidence against Zimmerman to his attorney. Under Florida law, most of it should be available to the public soon.

Some people believe if Zimmerman is found guilty, life in prison seems right. But the death penalty only magnifies heinous crimes by killing again. Do you think the FBI is justified in convicting Zimmerman of a hate crime and would the death penalty be the right sentence for him?
