The R.I.P singer is signed to the record label of Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z and while Rita is grateful for the rapper’s backing, it is his wife who impresses her the most.Rita, 21, grew up listening to the music of Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child and says the singer – who gave birth to her and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy in February – is out of this world for being so successful in both her personal and professional lives.
She told U.S. Glamour magazine ‘Destiny’s Child was my band. I was nearly choking when I met Beyonce, but she is the nicest. I call her an alien because I’m like, “How do you do everything at once? You can’t be human.”’
In the magazine interview Rita also revealed she thinks of Jay-Z as a brother but refused to open up on her rumoured relationship with reality TV star Rob Kardashian.
