SCOTUS & Same Sex Marriage: The Part of Sodom & Gomorrah that preachers never preach about…

same sex court

We all know the story of Sodom & Gomorrah – It’s Christians favorite bible story & scare tactic against homosexuals. However; my favorite part of Sodom & Gomorrah is the conversation Abraham had with God, prior to its destruction…

The Lord said, outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that he will go down to see if what has been done is as bad as the outcry that has reached him.

Genesis: 18:22

The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord.[d] 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare[e] the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?

Genesis: 18:26

The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

Genesis: 18:32

32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

God is no liar, so God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah because it’s evident that he couldn’t find at least ten righteous men to spare the life of the wicked.

After the Supreme Court Justice made the announcement to legalize “gay marriage” many Christians began a “homo hate frenzy”, Facebook statuses, news debates, videos, and more expressed either the excitement of the news, or the disappointment of it.

I personally don’t care about the Supreme Court decision, but what most Christians have failed at is “being the righteous to spare the city.”

America is not Sodom and Gomorrah because “gay marriage” has been legalized in all fifty states; it’s Sodom & Gomorrah because

“Straight men” sleep with multiple women & sometimes men all while spreading the HIV Virus amongst the black community.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because a pastor wants a 65 million dollar plane instead of a school, shelter, or hospital.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because Pastors sleep with the congregation.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because Christians don’t believe in abortions until it’s their underage daughter who is pregnant.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because women sleep with both men and women to satisfy their own filthy desires.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because “straight” women are killing their children.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because men like Bishop Eddie Long dominate the black church – pedophiles in the pulpit.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because you have the black church, white church, Methodist, Pentecostal, and COGIC; instead of the Christian Church.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because straight women sleep with other women husbands without conviction.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because nine black people were gunned down during bible study.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because rich people refuse to help the poor.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because there are more black men in prison than inside the home.

America is Sodom & Gomorrah because you’ve been going to church your entire life & you know the bible like the back of your hand, but you still don’t know God.

A great percentage of Americans identifies with Christianity as their chosen religion, so if you’re reading this and you’re a Christian – please ask yourself, am I one of the fifty righteous that God can count on, to spare the destruction of America?

2 Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity Brothers GET MARRIED!

Interesting. According to

It started as the Kappa Alpha Psi gay wedding that wasn’t really Kappa at all. But it was a gay wedding, all right. And let’s be real – the gay part is really what had everybody so up in arms.

See, the African American community has a big problem when it comes to having conversations about sexuality – especially same-sex sexuality. And when homosexuality infiltrates some of their storied institutions, like its fraternities and sororities, that’s when you have a serious uproar.

And that’s what happened after Robert Brown and Nathanael Gay posted their wedding video on YouTube last month. Because Gay is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity; because the couple chose red and white (the fraternity’s colors) for their wedding palette and because Gay and his frat brothers were photographed throwing up the Kappa identifying “yo” symbol, many folks accused the couple of dishonoring the 101-year-old fraternity, which is headquartered here in Philly.

Gay went on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show this week to set the record straight: No, he said, his wedding had no affiliation with the Greek organization. Yes, he is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, but he was thinking the color of love, not Kappa, when he and Brown chose the color scheme. Besides, the official Kappa colors are crimson and cream, not red and white, he said.  “My husband and I were both wearing white tuxedos,” Gay told Joyner.

Cream/white, crimson/red. Tomato/tomahto.   It doesn’t matter. What matters is how this controversy had put a damper on a beautiful display of commitment between two people who clearly love each other. And it impresses upon us once more that honest conversation, not homophobic jokes, needs to occur in the African American community before homosexuality is fully accepted, let alone embraced.

If we can’t talk about it, then you’d better believe that gays and lesbians will continue to closet themselves in a fraternity or a sorority near you.

Chick-fil-A President Says “We Support Biblical Families” [Video]

Chick-fil-A President Says “We Support Biblical Families”

Despite Chick-fil-A’s efforts to appease to the gay community, its President, Dan Cathy, reiterates the company’s support for “biblical families.”

Via 11AliveNews:

In one of his first interviews since the controversy that surrounded his chain of restaurants, Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy did not say much — but did mention his support for “Biblical families.”

Cathy spoke with 11Alive’s Matt Pearl this past Saturday at an event at the Cathy family’s ranch, The Rock Ranch, in The Rock, Ga. While offering an interview about the ranch and its various fall events, the Chick-fil-A president did agree to answer a few questions about the major topic of conversation: his earlier statements this summer about gay marriage. Back in July, Cathy told the Baptist Press the company stands “guilty as charged” for its stand on Biblical and family values. “We are very much supportive of the family — the Biblical definition of the family unit,” he said. “We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”

This past weekend, Cathy sidestepped questions about the controversy but did reiterate the company’s devotion to families. “Families are very important to our country,” Cathy said. “And they’re very important to those of us who are concerned about being able to hang on to our heritage. “We support Biblical families, and they’ve always been a part of that.”

Black Churches In Maryland Join Together To Pray Against Gay Marriage

Black Churches Gather For Prayer Vigil Against Gay Marriage

A group of black churches in Maryland are joining together to say gay is not ok as far as they’re concerned.

A coalition of African-American churches is holding a prayer vigil to highlight its members’ opposition to same-sex marriage and urge Marylanders to vote against it.

Members of the National Black Church Initiative will gather to pray at Israel Baptist Church in east Baltimore on Wednesday.

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley signed a bill legalizing same-sex marriage this year, but the measure has yet to take effect.

Do you think the state of Maryland will uphold it’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage?

“National Same-Sex Kissing Day” At Chick-Fil-A Restaurants Across America!

As you probably know, the national “kiss in” day at Chick-fil-A was August 3rd. And while some branches of the store faced relative calm amidst a storm of pro-gay sentiment and hot girl on girl action, others weren’t so lucky. One Hollyweird Chick-fil-A restaurant had to call the police after it was vandalized, and in general, the whole thing appears to have been a bit of an excuse for fawkery.

Aside from the shenanigans, pro-gay supporters were able to kiss and tell in many Chick-fil-A restaturants across America, to the probable anger of many conservative groups and Cathy family.

Well-grab your same sex partner and pucker up!

Blessings to all of God’s People!!!

Black Churches Rally Support Around Chick-fil-A’s Stance On Gay Marriage

I don’t think the black church should have gotten involved in this Chick-Fil-A Fiasco.

But it does look like a few churches really lined up to buy chicken to support the movement against gay marriage.

The CEO of Chick fil a started a firestorm of controversy by coming out and saying that he believes that marriage is a union that should involve only one man and one woman.

That led to a big turnout for Chick fil a appreciation day, with millions of people showing up to support the business.

But the move has also gotten some unwanted support from Neo Nazis and top black conservatives, which serves to taint the conversation a bit.

The affiliations with Neo Nazis have been used to bolster the case in support of those who disagree with what Chick fil a has been doing.  Chick fil a argues that their disagreement with gay marriage is not a form of discrimination.  Instead they argue that the bible tells them that homosexuality is an abomination and that they are simply speaking to their beliefs.  Gay rights groups, on the other hand, believe that the disagreement with gay marriage is consistent with a strong bias against the gay community.

“Being against gay marriage is not being anti-gay,” said Project 21 member Demetrius Minor. “The last time I checked, Chick-fil-A wasn’t expressing a desire for gays not to eat at their restaurants or seek employment with them.”

Take That Chick-Fil-A: CEO Of Gives $2.5M Donation For Same-Sex Marriage

Founder and CEO Of Gives $2.5M Donation For Same-Sex Marriage

While it’s safe to say most Americans have received a gift from at some point, Washington United for Marriage got a whopper. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie Bezos, made a $2.5 million donation to the advocacy coalition, which supports same-sex marriage in the state of Washington. The donation, which campaign manager Zach Silk called “extraordinary” in a statement, roughly doubles WUM’s budget.
State lawmakers approved, and Governor Christine Gregoire signed, a same-sex marriage bill in February. Referendum 74 was brought by an opposing group, Preserve Marriage Washington, to put the issue to voters in November. It is campaigning for “no” votes on the referendum.

The Bezos’ donation is believed to be the largest from an individual in support of same-sex marriage, according to WUM. In total, it said it had raised more than $5 million in support of its campaign urging voters to check “yes” on the referendum in November and legalize same-sex marriage. If the referendum is passed, Washington will be the seventh state to legalize same-sex marriage, although the only one to do so via the ballot box.

Floyd Mayweather Supports Gay Marriage

Floyd supports gay marriage, but he was also hanging out with Eddie Murphy a couple years ago.

According to TMZ:
Floyd Mayweather is squaring off against Manny Pacquiao … and once again it’s NOT in the ring — this time they’re fighting over gay marriage.

With the media still buzzing over Manny’s controversial condemnation of gay marriage … Pretty Boy Floyd released a counter-statement on Twitter … saying, “I stand behind President Obama & support gay marriage.”

He added, “I’m an American citizen & I believe people should live their life the way they want.”

These two can’t agree on anything … so we gotta ask …

Jay-Z Supports Gay Marriage

When did hip-hop rappers start supporting gay marriage?

Jay-Z says he STRONGLY believes gay people deserve the right to get married … claiming discriminating against a gay person is the same as discriminating against a black person.

Jay — arguably the most powerful person in hip hop — discussed the issue with CNN … saying President Obama’s decision to come out in support of gay marriage was “the right thing to do.”

“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love.”

He continued, “That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”
