9-Year-Old Charged With Murder After Beating A 14-Month Old Baby To Death

WTF?!

9-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of 14-Month Old

King Quan is what Alisha Johnson called her 14-month-old son the day he was born, and that’s how she referred to him Saturday when he was eulogized six days after authorities said he was beaten to death by a 9-year-old boy.

Taquan A. Willis died last Sunday after he was found beaten, allegedly by a member of the family they were living with in Cahokia. The 9-year-old was charged with first-degree murder Tuesday in juvenile court, but authorities did not release his name nor any specifics about the case when they announced the charge Friday.

Family members attending Taquan’s funeral Saturday said they are not sure what happened in the house in the 300 block of Isabell Road, where the boy was found unconscious on the floor. Relatives say he was in the home with his two brothers, ages 2 and 3, and a friend of his mother’s, along with her boyfriend, a 12-year-old boy and the 9-year-old charged in Taquan’s death.

Johnson’s aunt, Jessica Jackson, said the 9-year-old boy is a relative of Melissa Wilbourn, whom family members say Johnson had lived with for about a month.

Jackson said Wilbourn told relatives she heard a groaning sound and went to check on the kids, who were in a back room, asleep on the floor. She went back to bed, then heard the sound again and went back into the room and called out to Taquan.

“She said she picked him up and he was limp,” Jackson said.

In only 14 months, Taquan had made quite an impact on his family.

After the funeral service at New Jerusalem Pentecostal Ministries in Centreville, Taquan’s father, Todd A. Willis Jr., said he would always remember two special things about the boy.

“I loved his smile and the way he poked his lips out to give me a kiss,” he said softly after helping to carry his son’s small white casket with white flowers and blue ribbons to a white hearse.

Johnson said she nicknamed the boy King Quan because he was her “King.” He was the youngest of her three children. His smile was on her mind on Saturday.

“He was just a happy baby,” she said. “He would bring a lot of joy to you. He smiled and danced.” She said “SpongeBob SquarePants” was his favorite television show.

We can’t even imagine the pain that this family is feeling, R.I.P Taquan Willis.

Wife of Former Congressman Dies After Being Run Over By Her Own Car

This is  very sad!!

Police said 82-year-old Nancy Hamilton arrived in the parking lot of a veterinary clinic with a pet Saturday around 4:15 p.m., but her car was not shifted into park. As Hamilton walked behind the vehicle to retrieve her pet from the passenger side of the car, the car rolled backward, striking and running her over.

Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters said Hamilton was alone at the time, and he believes the incident to be entirely accidental.
Monroe County Coroner Nicole Meyer told NBC News Hamilton died from blunt force trauma to the head and suffered chest injuries. She was taken to the Indiana University Health Center in Bloomington where she died hours later.

“This is so tragic,” Charlotte Zietlow, former Bloomington City Council president, told the Herald-Times. “They were going to have a life together.”

Death Toll Up To 171 In Russian Rain Flood Disaster

When it rains, it pours…

The death toll from this weekend’s catastrophic flash floods in southern Russia has climbed to at least 171 people, and authorities warn that figure is likely to increase.

As the flood waters receded they revealed a grim sight. Dozens of bodies were reportedly found along the streets and inside homes. At least 15 remain unidentified. Local authorities said some may be unrecognizable, according to Russian news reports.

Residents described a terrifying wall of water that caught many by surprise when it rushed into towns in the region of Crimea during the overnight hours on Saturday morning. The floods were said to be the country’s worst in recent memory.

Those lucky enough to escape their homes reportedly climbed to safety on rooftops and in trees as flood waters quickly engulfed houses in low-lying areas.

Authorities estimate some 12,000 people were affected by the floods, which came after about 11 inches of rain — over an entire month’s worth — fell that night.

The Mayans said that the world would end this year and December is right around the corner. We’re just sayin…

More Cannibal Attacks…Really?!?!?!!!!

Ugh!!!! The cannibal attacks just keep on coming!

Brandon DeLeon, a North Miami Beach man, is under arrest for walking into a Boston Market and trying to get into a fight with two police officers who were dining at the restaurant. Once in custody, he growled at officers and tried to bite one’s hand. Officers believe he was under the influence of “Cloud 9,” a synthetic drug.

According to WSVN, two North Miami Beach officers were in the Boston Market on Saturday night when DeLeon, a homeless man, walked in. DeLeon began shouting obscenities at the officers and threatened to fight them, so obviously he found himself quickly in handcuffs.

Things got stranger when they took him to jail however.

“While at the holding cell, DeLeon banged his head repeatedly inside the holding cell,” reads an officer’s safety bulletin. “DeLeon growled at officers in the booking area like a rabid dog. DeLeon attempted to bite Officer Ruiz’s hand off.”

The bulletin of course makes reference to Rudy Eugene’s face chewing exploits.

“It was later discovered DeLeon had taken a synthetic drug named Cloud 9. This bears resemblance to the incident that occurred in the City of Miami last week when a male ate another man’s face. Please be careful when dealing with our homeless population during your patrols.”

Although it doesn’t bear that much of a resemblance.

There’s no confirmation yet, but only speculation that Eugene was high on bath salts, a type of synthetic yayo. Online, there are both bath salts and brands of synthetic maryjane called “Cloud 9;” it’s not clear which variety DeLeon had taken. Eugene was also not homeless.

WSVN also says that DeLeon had the “caffeinated, alcoholic beverage Four Loko in his system.” Though, Four Loko is no longer sold with caffeine, so that’s also not quite true.

At a bond hearing DeLeon said he couldn’t recall anything that had actually happened. He remains in jail on $5,500 bond.

This some NEW Shyt!!!
