Ex-NFL Baller Warren Sapp Forced To Auction Off His Air Jordan Sneaker Collection Due To Bankruptcy

If you like shoes especially rare Air Jordans (and you happen to be a Size 15) you’re in luck, because Warren Sapp‘s ENTIRE collection is up for auction as part of his bankruptcy case.

TMZ reports that former NFL player Warren Sapp can now join the legion of athletes who went broke after wasting their money on stupid sh*t.

Sapp, who has filed for bankruptcy, has over 240 pairs of Air Jordans, many of them never worn…..ever.

TMZ broke the story … Sapp filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy earlier this year … claiming he’s racked up millions of dollars in debts since he retired from the NFL. Sapp might have wanted to take one of those many financial responsibility classes offered by the NFL to keep its players from going broke.  What’s so ignorant about it all is that players don’t listen to their financial advisers until they start going broke.  That’s sad and trifling.

All the money from the auction is going to go to repay Sapp’s creditors.

His shoe game may be crazy but his bills are just nuts!

A word from Madam P: If he would have focused on his finances innstead of Jordan’s, then he would have had some money left over! Goofy athletes!

“You can’t say Swizz Beatz isn’t trying his best to getReebok back. Besides hooking up beats for his wife and rappers like this guy named Nas, the producer/rapper designs kicks. Whether said sneakers are good looking, is debatable. The latest model to drop on Swizz’s watch is the “Time To Show.”

The sneaker (or boot) features an oversized tongue, high collar and zippers; two per shoe, actually. There is also a Swizz Beatz x Reebok logo on the insole. Brass hardware is also featured on this dark leathered out footwear while the zippers look like they’re supposed to aid with ankle flexibility. These are intended strictly for casual wear instead hooping or going on a hike and are already for sale over in the UK, so you can expect to see them stateside soon.”

The Kanye West/Giuseppe Zanotti $5,800 Shoe

Kanye West is prepping to hit the Paris runways again with his Spring 2012 collection of his clothing line.  But what’s catching everyone’s eye today is what is about to hit stores soon–Kanye’s $5,800 beaded shoe he co-designed with Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

Kanye is about to get his much anticipated women’s shoe distributed in his fave French upscale retailer, Colette.

The retailer recently tweeted they are stocking styles from his Spring 2012 collection, saying:

Giuseppe Zanotti for KW @kanyewest available @coletteparis

For his (pictured above) unique, pearl-encrusted wooly/crocheted heels, he worked closely with Mr. Zanotti.  And we’re told the shoe will run you close to $6,000.

Halle Berry Lands BRAND NEW SHOE LINE!

Halle Berry is putting her laid back and casual yet sexy style to good use.  She’s giving other ladies the chance to look like her…well, at least their feet will.

Halle, who juggles being an actress and mom to 3-year-old Nahla, loves to keep it comfy.  And now she’s teamed up with popular German retailer Deichmann Shoes to create her own shoe designs.  The Revlon spokeswoman did a fab private shoot in Germany this week to showcase her ’5th Avenue by Halle Berry’ collection:

In the commercial, we’ll see Halle getting caught up in changing her outfits and shoes in her dressing room even though she’s late to her film set.

The shoes are mostly and relatively low-heeled, wedged, and comfy but with a stylish edge moms of little ones could definitely appreciate.  Halle said about her creations:

“Women have always loved shoes. It’s like if your hair is not right and your shoes are not right, the woman is not right.  If both of them are right, you’re pretty much OK.”

She continued:

“And shoes are a statement. They can be very sexy; they can say something about where you are in the day; they can say what your mood is; they give you a chance to accessorize.  And I’m a girl that loves to change my shoes all the time. It’s an expression of who you are really. I’m a girl if I find a shoe that I really like I like to get them in all colours. I’m big on that.”

What’s her personal faves?  The 45-year-old Hollywood star revealed:

“I would say I’m a nude girl because this goes with everything. You can dress it up and dress it down.  I can’t think of any girl who wouldn’t want her name on a brand of shoes. I think that’s pretty cool.”

Halle’s spring/summer range of 40 limited edition shoes will boast peep toes with wedge heels, mid-heeled sandals with straps and mid and high-heeled sling sandals on wedge heels.

The shoes go on sale in the UK in early March with prices starting at £29.99.
BONUS: Halle’s baby’s daddy Gabriel Aubry has agreed to go to anger management classes in light of the assault charges filed on him by Nahla’s nanny.
