A Man Convicted Of Stalking Rihanna Spent 277 Days Behind Bars

A man convicted of stalking Rihanna spent 277 days behind bars after showing up at her L.A. home and scaring the crap out of the singer … and now he’s out and living in the same city as Rihanna …TMZ has learned.

Zentil Vanzellas was convicted of stalking the singer back in 2010 … after pleading no contest to allegations he was harassing the singer.

According to court records, the judge deemed Vanzellas a “credible threat” and acknowledged that Rihanna had reason to fear him.

Vanzellas — now 26 — was sentenced to 365 days in L.A. County Jail … but was released in June 2011 after serving 277 days.

As part of his sentence, Vanzellas was put on 3 years probation and ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from Rihanna for 10 years!!

We spoke with Vanzellas who told us he’s “sorry” for all of the trouble he caused for the singer … and insists he will leave her alone. The question … is it safe taking his word?

Calls to Rihanna have not been returned.

Rihanna Signed As Face Of Barbados Tourism

Well Nivea may have parted ways with Rihanna, but her hometown has something in mind-She just signed a three-year contract to promote her native country of Barbados. She will begin work this September, encouraging tourism to the beautiful island.

“Barbadian pop singer Rihanna has signed a three-year contract with the Barbados Tourist Authority (BTA) to promote the island. According to BTA chairman Adrian Elcock, production on the promotional campaign is expected to begin soon and will be launched in September, in time for the winter tourist season. Elcock made the announcement Saturday, during the Crop Over press conference at the Hilton Barbados Hotel.”

Her recent departure from the clean-face, young beauty rep she used to be for Nivea is still being talked about and this new deal may be a better fit for Rihanna.

That girl from Love and Hip-Hop Joseline really looks like Rihanna (maybe a little) I’m not saying they are twins-they do favor eachother!!!

Drake Is Producing Aaliyah’s New Album And Timbaland Says “Without Him & Missy’s The Album Would Be Whack”!!!

Drake Or Timbaland?

Drake’s obsession with late R&B singer Aaliyah is no secret, with the waffle toned rapper reportedly recruited to executive produce her next album – but now producer Timbaland has claimed that project wouldn’t be right without himself and Missy Elliot.

During an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, Timbaland claimed that Drake’s upcoming project would be wack without input from himself or Missy Elliot, who were close to the singer.

”I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy. The proper way for him to do that would be me, him and Missy to be all on the record. But to put it on his record, would just not be right.”

With Drake’s minimal production experience, should the YMCMB star reconsider his options and include Aaliyah’s longtime collaborators Timbaland and Missy, both of whom have produced several hits and were extremely close to the late great singer?
