Evelyn Lozada Does First Photoshoot Since Her Divorce

Spotted Via Theybf:

Evelyn Lozada is officially back at work.  And by work, we mean doing photoshoots.

Rocking a golden skirt custom made for her by Jason Sky, Evelyn was back in the photoshoot saddle yesterday in Atlanta.  She tweeted about shooting with PETA, but it’s not clear if all the pics from her full photoshoot day were for the animal right’s org.

She rocked scenes in a white hot and red hot swimsuit inside and outside the pool, and she shot with photographerDrexina Nelson.

We may still be side eyeing her whole PR journey of a convenient anti-violence campaign, but chick still looks hot.

She used her own Evelyn makeup for the shoot.

She posted about her return saying, “I was so happy to FINALLY get back to work after taking a hiatus that seemed like FOREVER!”

Looking good Ev.

A Former Dancer Opens Up About Butt Injections

Shawty Got Azz On Her-I can spend a couple grand on her! Former stripper/dancer and author of the popular book Shot Girls, recently opened up about her addiction to butt injections. Which made her ill.

Vanity Wonder was addicted to butt addictions-she was a guest on UK morning show today. The shots altered her body.   Vanity became popular on the internet she showed the world her butt injection progress.

She stated

‘When I heard about butt injections I thought it sounded stupid but after a year in that environment as a dancer, everyone was doing it, it wasn’t such a foreign concept. I thought I might as well try it.  ’Then it became a competition – not for men but against other women. So many of us were doing it because we wanted to better than the other person.’

Truth be told-she isn’t the only one doing butt injections. Your favorite celebrity could be guilty of it as well.

‘It did become addictive but it got infected so I was left with lumps. So I had a choice, I could have a medium-sized lumpy butt or keep padding it with silicone to make it better. So it wasn’t my goal to get this big but padding it with silicone is how this happened.’

Vanity is pleading with women all over the world to stay away from butt injections!

She added,

‘Truthfully I would like smaller butt but I’m happy I didn’t die and still here for my children. I did so much dumb stuff with my body I’m lucky that I’m still living. When I look in the mirror, I think I would like a smaller butt, it’s hard to go shopping, but I’m just happy I’m still here.’

Madam Prezident Response: “Ladies a big butt isn’t worth going into a casket-Be smart and know what really looks good on a woman is wisdom”!

Awwww…Evelyn Lozada Blogs About Becoming A Better Person

Talk to em’ boo-boo!

Evelyn Lozada Writes Blog About Basketball Wives Image

Last night’s episode was a whirlwind of emotions for everyone. It’s such a sensitive subject for me because I honestly see it from both sides. I’m not here to condemn or condone anyone especially given some of my choices this season, however I will say that once again last night’s episode and all that happened forced me to look at and examine myself in ways that I haven’t in the past. No matter what the situation is, I’m realizing that we as grown women are allowing ourselves to be placed in a position for judgment. I’m confident that I speak for many of us on the show that when it comes to creating a better balance for television, we are all working very hard to do just that. Many of us are getting help for our inner issues and striving to portray a more positive image overall.

Tahiti was just an example of all of us being a true work in progress… Hang in there with us, as we vow to grow and become better!

Until next week!

xoxo,

Ev

Evelyn is evil-I don’t believe her!!!

CARTOON HAS A MESSAGE FOR BLACK WOMEN

There’s a little illustration, a cartoon if you will, that’s currently making its way around the web. Though there is evidence of its presence on the internet, as far back as October of last year, comedian Kevin Hart made it popular by posting it on his Facebook page. Judging by the reaction to the comic, everyone doesn’t find it so funny.

Take a look and let us know what you think:

You want to know what I think? While I could take offense to the stereotypes the black women in this comic are portraying, I can also say that I chuckled when I first looked at this illustration. You know why? Because all jokes, though occasionally absurd, are usually based off a modicum of truth. And while this scenario has never played out in my personal life;…to the best of my knowledge, I can say I’ve seen it happen. As far back as middle school, I’ve seen it happen. And not just to the “nerdy” dudes either. Boys who were considered “soft” or “too dark” were sometimes openly and harshly rejected by sistas. And you know what? They moved on. Not always washing their hands completely of black women but gravitating towards a woman who wouldn’t put them down. Who can be mad at that?

Sure, not all black men start dating white women because of this and certainly all black women don’t reject men they think are “geeky” but this is one, two framed illustration. It would be foolish to think it could tackle all the sometimes painful dynamics that exist between black women and black men.

What do you think about the comic? Were you offended? Have you ever witnessed a scenario like this?
